Ena M. Sandberg

Ena M. Sandberg, 99, of West Haven, died on March 19, 2024. Born in New Haven on June 4, 1924, a daughter of the late Antonio and Cludomira (Mainardi) Rossi. Survived by her loving nephew Richard Zampa of West Haven. Preceded in death by her beloved sister Mary Zampa and nephew Kenneth Zampa, both of West Haven.

Ena was blessed with the gift of longevity and embraced the simple things in life that brought forth immense joy, such as her family, friends, and various hobbies. Prior to retirement, Ena worked for the Eichlen Corporation, whereby she devoted many years as an accounting clerk. She enjoyed her golden years with a zest of enthusiasm and will remain in the hearts of those left behind.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30am on Monday, her procession will then depart the funeral home in route to St. Lawrence Cemetery, whereby her graveside service and entombment will take place at 11 o’clock.
