Madelyn Lucibello Obituary

Madelyn “Mandy” Lucibello, 65, passed away on March 11, 2024.  Mandy was born in New Haven on March 22, 1958, to Mario E. and Nancy R. (Raiola) Lucibello. Mandy loved her family, friends, cooking, baking, physical fitness, & healthy living.  She worked at AT&T Yellow Pages for 32 years as the East Region Distribution Manager where she developed long-time relationships with many coworkers whom she considered to be her second family.  She moved on to the Southern CT Regional Water Authority as an Administrative Assistant for the Meter Reading and Field Service Departments, establishing additional close friendships.  Before retiring, Mandy worked for ADT Security Systems, and she was also a member and instructor at LA Fitness for water aerobics & spinning classes for many years.

She had a love of animals, especially her rescue, Bella, who she considered her baby girl.  Bella brought Mandy much happiness; enjoyment dressing her up at the fall festivals, Halloween Costume Contests, photographs with the Easter Bunny & Santa Claus, visits to Old Grove Park, walks at West Haven beach, chasing the squirrels and most of all unconditional love.

Mandy will be missed by her nephews, Mario V. (Emily) Lucibello and Raymont J.  (Christal) Lucibello; sister-in-law, Angie (Rondina) Lucibello; and countless friends.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Mario J. Lucibello.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  On Thursday morning, her procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Vianney Church of St. John XXIII Parish at 10 o’clock.  Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery, Derby.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Smilow Cancer Center, P.O. Box 1849, New Haven, CT 06510.
