I offer my sincere condolence to the entire Marshall family on the death of Edward. We were classmates from the first grade at Colonial Park Grammar School (CPGS) in 1939 through graduation from West Haven High School in 1951. Since he lived directly across from CPGS, I remember him often reminding me how long he could sleep on school days and still not be late for class! He was a true gentleman, even at an early age – rest in peace Eddie. C. Lloyd Bauer Leesburg, Florida

My husband, Les, is a second cousin to "Uncle" Ed and "Aunt" Vera, but because they were older, he respectfully called them aunt and uncle. When Les was a young boy, he spent many of his summers at their house, and he was treated like he was their own son. Uncle Ed would take him when he went bargain hunting at yard sales, he spent a lot of quality time with him, and to this day, Les treasures those moments. Uncle Ed was a warm, wonderful, caring man who was loved by everyone who met him. He surely was loved by us, and we will miss him greatly.
