Frank Joseph Fikiet

Frank Joseph Fikiet, age 84, of East Haven, passed away peacefully at his home on September 24, 2019. Frank was born on June 30, 1935, in Stafford Springs, CT, to the late John & Mary Walenga Fikiet. He is survived by his loving children, Kira Fikiet Blakeslee, of Wallingford and Frank D. Fikiet, of New Haven, and his brother John M. Fikiet. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Marisa Felice Fikiet, and siblings Elsie Pallank and George S. Fikiet. 

Frank proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force. He was self-employed for many years, working as an electro-mechanical engineer. Frank was and always will be fondly and lovingly remembered as a great teacher. 

Entombment will be held at State Veterans Cemetery, 314 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT on October 22, 2019, at 12PM.
