Sharon Bombardier, age 76, of Milford passed away on November 29, 2019. For 50 years, she was the loving wife of Ernest Bombardier. She was born in Derby, CT daughter of the late James and Dorothy Mae Flood Gildea. Sharon is also survived by her children Jodilyn Sporko of West Haven, Paul Ferchau of Milford, Teresa (Joseph) Maitteo of CA, Mary Bombardier, William Bombardier and Robert Bombardier all of New Haven, James Bombardier of CA, Brian Bombardier of Canada and John (Terina) Bombardier of Milford, her granddaughter Chloe Stewart and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren, her siblings, Thomas (Jeanie) Gildae, Geralyn (Michael) Klubeck and Joyce (Pete) Terriny. She was predeceased by her daughter Tina Marie Bombardier and her sisters Ardith, Evelyn and Diane. Prior to her retirement, Sharon was co-owner and office manager at Aid Tool & Die. Sharon, with her husband, was a ballroom dance instructor on various cruise ships.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10-11am the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A funeral service will then commence at the funeral home at 11am, with interment following in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
