Alana Repetsky

Alana Perry Repetsky, age 61 passed away on July 4, 2022.  She was the loving wife of John Repetsky.  Alana was born in New Haven, daughter of Barbara Colandrea Perry of West Haven and the late Allen Perry.  She is also survived by her children, Heidi Lynn (Kevin) Christian of East Haven and Niklas Repetsky of Bethlehem, PA, her granddaughter Alyvia Christian, her sister Jacquie (Kevin) Gilmore of West Haven, as well as many loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Alana spent most of her career working in Human Resources, most recently at Amazon. 

Alana was a lifelong reader who especially loved a good romance novel.  With her passion for reading, she was asked to act as a proofreader for many published authors.  Possessing a prolific memory, Alana acted as the family historian, always remembering birthdays and anniversaries.  She was usually the first to offer an enthusiastic Happy Birthday or congratulations.  Alana was a true fan of the band Journey seeing them in concert many times, always accompanied by her sister, brother-in-law and cousins.  Above all, Alana loved her family and spending time with all of them.

The hours for visitation will be held on Saturday July 30th, from 11am – 1pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  Interment will be private.
