Amanda A. Riordan, age 30, passed away on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023 surrounded by family. Amanda is predeceased by her mother, Lisa Riordan. She is survived by her grandmother Lillian Eaton; father Donald Riordan; sister Marisa (William) Chromik; niece Sofia Affinito and nephew Aiden Chromik; as well as many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Amanda was a very loving girl who cared deeply for her family and close friends. Notably, her friend Shelby, who was like a second sister to her since preschool. Anyone who knew her knew she loved all animals, big and small, but her dog Hatter, and cat Alice held a special place in her life and heart. She loved movies and music of every variety; some of the best memories her sister holds are of them singing and dancing around their house together as children.
Amanda was not only full of love, but she was also a very bright individual, working for several years as a paralegal. Though she has left this world to be reunited with her beloved mother, Amanda’s memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all those who cherished her in life. A special thank you to the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff at Yale New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael’s Campus who tended to Amanda in her final hours.
Please join us in celebrating her life on Friday, January 5th, at 10a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 28 Church St., West Haven, CT. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Halfway Home Rescue, North Haven, CT https://halfwayhomerescue.simdif.com/how_to_donate.html.
