Anne C. Sutherland

 Anne C. Sutherland, 90, of Milford, CT passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025. Born in Glasgow, Scotland on November 6, 1934, she was one of three siblings. Anne leaves behind her daughter Christine Arlegui Sutherland (Roberto) of Madrid, Spain, son Graeme Sutherland (Joann) of East Haven, CT, and five grandchildren: granddaughter Leigh Arlegui Sutherland of Germany, and grandsons Ian Arlegui Sutherland of Spain; Graeme Sutherland, Jr of Hamden, CT; and Brandon Sutherland of East Haven, CT. In addition, she will be deeply missed by her dear friend Daria Weible and longtime neighbors Ed and Kelly Dudek who were like family to her. She was predeceased by father William McKay; mother Chrissie Chapman McKay; brother Willie McKay; and sister Margaret Pirie.

Throughout Anne’s life, she enjoyed gardening and watching the birds outside. One of her greatest delights was the music performed by the Linn Choir in Scotland. She worked for Seton Name Plate of New Haven, and later Brady in Branford.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 14th from 10am – 12pm, at which time a prayer service will take place within the funeral parlor.
