Anthony G. Corraro

Anthony G. Corraro, 78, of West Haven passed away on December 28, 2020.  He was the loving husband of Linda Riccio Corraro.   In addition to his wife Linda, Tony leaves his children Gina (Danny) Williams of Rockfall and Staz (Denise) Guntek Sr. of FL., seven grandchildren Rocco and Gianni Williams, Dalton Ellsberry, Staz (Sarah) Guntek, Jr., Krystyna, Samantha and Joseph Guntek, his sister Marilyn Earle of Milford.   Born in Bridgeport, Tony was a son of the late Augustine “Gus” and Mary Salerno Corraro and is also predeceased by his sister Patricia Genova.

Tony was a proud US Navy Vietnam veteran.  An avid golfer, he served as a president of Fairchild Wheeler Golf Club, Fairfield and as a longtime president of South Wind Village Condo Association, Milford.  At the time of his death, Anthony was employed at New England Uniform where he worked in sales.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the West Haven Funeral Home at the green.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 o’clock at Our Lady of Victory Church (St. John Vianney campus).  Military honors will be rendered after mass.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gaylord Specialty Care, PO Box 400, Wallingford, CT. 06492.
