Anthony DePalma, 58, a lifelong West Haven resident entered into rest on February 11, 2026. A son of the late Pepe and Teresa DeSisto DePalma, Anthony was born in New Haven on April 29, 1967.
Anthony grew up surrounded by his loving family, who were at his bedside during his illness. They include his siblings and their spouses Carmelina and Ben Ferrie, Phillip and Betsy DePalma, Joseph and Raquel DePalma. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Anna (Nick) Maillet, Benjamin (Lauren) Ferrie, Ashly DePalma, Joseph (Melissa) DePalma, all of whom he treasured and his great nephew JJ and great niece Lilliana, who brought him so much joy and fun.
A talented artist, Anthony spent many hours creating beautiful sketches which adorned his apartment.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday morning February 17, 2026, from 9 to 10:30 at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John XXIII Parish, at St. John Vianney Church at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
