Anthony Evans

Anthony “Tony” Evans, 67, of Hamden, departed his earthly life on September 28, 2024.

Left to mourn his passing are his devoted wife Connie Sutton; father Lomon Evans; brothers and sisters and their families Deborah (Ricky) Evans, Kerry Evans, Darryl (Krista) Evans, Beverly (Eddie) Hammie, Barry (Joyce) Evans, Shannel Evans and Jessica Evans and many nieces, nephews and friends.  He was predeceased by his mother Marjorie Gaddy Evans and brother Adrian “Stevie” Evans, Sr.

Tony proudly served his country in the US Army.  He had a lengthy career with Simkins Industries.

Arrangements were entrusted to the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  Visitation will take place on Saturday morning October 19, 2024, from 10 until 11 o’clock at Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church, 425 Newhall Street, Hamden, CT.  At 11 o’clock, his homegoing service will begin in the church.  Military honors will commence in the parking lot of the church at the conclusion of his church service.  Interment will be private.
