Anthony H. Gervasio

Anthony “Tony” Gervasio, age 88, of West Haven passed away on September 13, 2023.  For 36 years, he was the loving husband of the late Faith Ventrilio Gervasio.  Tony was born in New Haven, son of the late Albert and Mary Pucella Gervasio.  He is survived by his sons, Anthony C. Gervasio and his wife Sandra of Danbury and Steven J. Gervasio of West Haven, his grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas Gervasio, his sister Alberta Lion of Hamden, as well as his 4 nephews & 3 nieces. 

For many years Tony worked in the warehouse at Sears and Roebuck.  He then worked for the Parks Dept. with the City of West Haven, prior to his retirement. Tony could also be found at the beach or chatting with his friends at Dunkin’ Donuts.  He loved to be outside, soaking up the sun.  He was very active with the West Haven Little League, back in his day, serving as a Past President.  Tony loved to spend as much time as possible with his family.

Family and friend are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, Sept. 25th, at 10:30am in St. Louis Church, St. John XXXII Parish.  Interment will be private.  Donations may be made in his memory to WHEAT 674 Washington Ave, West Haven, CT 06516.
