Anthony "Corky" Monaco

Anthony “Corky” Monaco, 87, formerly of West Haven passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026. He was the loving husband of 59 years to the late Helen Santopietro Monaco.  Born in New Haven on April 25, 1939, Anthony was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Gravante Monaco.  He leaves daughters, Karen Monaco of Ft. Myers, FL and Lisa Monaco (Michael Asselin) of Northford, grandchildren Anthony Monaco and Taylor O’Neill and was predeceased by his sister Marie DeStefano. Anthony was known for his lively sense of humor.  He enjoyed trips to the Mohegan Sun casino with his wife, and spending time on the water as he was an avid boater and fisherman.

The hours for visitation will take place on Friday morning June 26, 2026, from 9 to 11 o’clock at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  A parlor service will begin at 11 o’clock followed by military honors at the funeral home.
