April L. Potasz-Thomas

April Potasz Thomas, 56, of West Haven, died on January 6 2025, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Craig Thomas and a daughter of the late John and Sharon Murray Potasz.  In addition to her husband, April is survived by her stepchildren Crystal L. Thomas and Daniel J. (Raquel) Thomas; siblings Holly Potasz, Ronald Carrano, and Jason Potasz, stepbrothers Steven and Roy Stone, Jr., her favorite niece Hallie Carrano, her favorite uncle and aunt Richard and Pam Murray, many nieces, nephews and her furbaby Pika Chew. Over the years, April worked as a receptionist for Lord Chamberlain and for a local real estate firm. She will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Adventurous, outgoing, barefoot at the beach, traveling to warm climate destinations bring to mind favorite memories of April.  Some of her hobbies include home cooking and reading Danielle Steele.  She loved attending shows at comedy clubs and enjoyed endless laughter watching her favorite comedians.

Visiting hours will be held at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green, on Tuesday January 14th from four to six pm, at which time her memorial service will begin.
