Arlene M. Dobrosky

Arlene M. Dobrosky, 87, of West Haven, entered into rest on July 6, 2025. Born in New Haven on September 18, 1937, a daughter of Joseph and Evelyn Stevens McDermott. Arlene is survived by her loving daughters Colleen Dymarcik of Florida and Deborah Eburg of Massachusetts; sons Thomas Dobrosky of West Haven and John Dobrosky of East Haven; sister-in-law Joyce McDermott of New Hampshire; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Arlene was preceded in death by her beloved brothers Joseph and Francis.

A dedicated worker, Arlene was employed by Marlins Firearms for 35 years. She enjoyed the simple things in life, including time spent with family and her treasured cats; crossword puzzles; ceramics and painting.

Arrangements were entrusted to the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green, 662 Savin Avenue, West Haven, Connecticut. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, morning from ten o’clock to twelve noon, at which time her memorial service will commence in the funeral parlor. Inurnment will be Private at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven, Connecticut.
