Arnold C. Castracane, 77, of West Haven, passed away on February 14, 2025.
He is preceded by his longtime love of over 55 years, Margaret Castracane, and survived by his two sons, Arnold and Matthew, as well as his cherished sister, Sandy.
Arnold graduated from Eli Whitney Technical High School with a Precision Machining degree and worked at Miter Corporation in his younger years. He was a long-time Special Services Technician for SNET/AT&T before retiring after over 40 years of service.
Arnold was a man of many talents, who loved being outdoors and working with his hands, especially tinkering with his '67 Mustang. He always went out of his way to teach what he knew to all who were interested. When his children were younger, Arnold took the time to become their soccer coach and eventually led the West Haven soccer team to win the state championship. He was quite the ‘wiz’ in the kitchen and enjoyed cooking with and for his family. Arnold is remembered for cherishing his family more than anything.
A graveside service will be held on a future date at the convenience of the family at St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave, West Haven, Connecticut.
