Barbarina Carloni Obituary

Barbarina Carloni, 95, of Orange, died peacefully on September 17, 2024. Born in Mondolfo, Italy on December 4, 1928, a daughter of the late Eugenio and Ines (Gramati) Facchinetti. Survived by her loving daughter Bruna (Steven) Banyas of Orange; grandchildren Michael (Jill) Banyas of Rockville, MD, and Rebecca (Timothy) Tvardzik of Trumbull; as well as great-grandchildren Emilie, Drew, and Alyssa. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Mario Carloni; daughter Adelaide Carloni; sisters Josephina and Letiza Facchinetti; as well as her brother Alberino Facchinetti.

Barbara’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, for whom her world was centered. She was perfectly content being in her kitchen, surrounded by family and catering to their desire for her famous lasagna and roasted chicken, among other delicious recipes.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 20th, from 4 to 7 o’clock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 10 o’clock, at St. John Vianney Church. Entombment will immediately follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery Garden Mausoleum.
