Bertha F. Torto

Bertha F. Torto, age 97, of East Haven passed away peacefully with her family at her side on June 25, 2021.  For 69 years, she was the devoted wife of the late Lawrence H. Torto Sr.  Bertha was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Anthony and Bertha G. LaBanca.

She is survived by her loving son Lawrence H. (Linda Sekac) Torto Jr. of East Haven, her cherished grandchildren Jon Torto, Jennifer (Robert) Wood, Lawrence H. Torto III, Victoria E. Torto and Campbell J. Torto and her adoring great grandchildren Robert, Avonlea, Ty and Carter Wood.

She was predeceased by her siblings Theresa Perez, Audrey Hansen, Jim LaBanca and Anthony Louis LaBanca.

The hours for visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-6pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  A Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 6pm.
