Elizabeth “Beth” Maresca Rossi, 74, of West Haven, entered into eternal rest on March 5, 2026, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Atty Giancarlo Rossi. Beth’s family includes her sons David (Katherine) Rossi and Alfred Rossi; her adored grandchildren Jacob, Olivia, Isabella, Julia and Jillian Rossi; siblings Barbara Case and Charles Maresca and many nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her parents Louis T. and Josephine Iannucci Maresca and brother Louis A. Maresca.
Most of Beth’s life was spent in West Haven where she was a devout communicant of the former St. Lawrence Church and a member of its’ St. Therese Guild. For many years she worked for the West Haven Board of Education as a cook. Summer family trips, spending time at the beach created countless memories for Beth. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren and their activities. Family was everything. She will remain forever in our hearts and will be deeply missed.
The hours for visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 11 th , from 4 to 8 o’clock, at the West Haven Funeral Home. On Thursday morning, the procession will depart the funeral home at 9 o’clock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John XXIII parish at the Church of St. Louis at 9:30. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, 3000 Whitney Avenue, 121, Hamden, CT. 06518.
