Beverly M. Mirando, age 64, of West Haven passed away at home, with her husband at her side, on November 28, 2021. For 39 years, she was the loving wife of Joseph Mirando. Beverly was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Frederick and Angela DeMayo Curtis. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her siblings, Arthur “Artie” DeFransesco, Linda DeFransesco, Laure Commondinni, Nancy Curtis, Eveyln Curtis and Jean DeFransesco and her loveable cats Pumpkin and Piggi. Beverly was predeceased by her brother Donald Curtis and her sister Elaine Curtis.
Prior to her retirement, Beverly enjoyed her career working for the West Haven Probate Court. She also had her own side business, making quilts and baskets for newborns. Beverly loved her trips with her husband, whether it was the beaches of Ocean City or the mountains of Lake Georges. Any day was good for a day, for a day trip. Beverly and Joe enjoyed their many walks on the beach, concerts in the parks and just relaxing listening to their favorite music, she just enjoyed life to its fullest.
