Carlton Vaughn, 60, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 2, 2021. He was born on December 16, 1960 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Arthelia Vaughn and the late Leon Mims. Carl will be remembered for his beautiful smile, caring and compassionate heart. He was the nurturer of his family, as well as the go-to person of the family. Carl loved to cook, spend time with his family as well as his grandchildren. He was known for his intuitive personality and his “tell it like it is” attitude. Carl was a lifelong member of Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church.
Carl leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Renee Vaughn, his sons, Jermaine Noble of New Haven, CT, Cerrone Vaughn (Christina Vaughn) of Hamden, CT, Demetrius Vaughn of New Haven, CT, Andre Vaughn of West Haven, CT and his only daughter Tanisha Vaughn formerly of New Haven, CT. Nine grandchildren, two great- grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends that he loved dearly. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, October 8, 2021. Viewing will be at 10 AM, service will start at 11 AM at Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church: 782 Orchard St New Haven, CT 06511. Interment will follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park: 90 Pine Rock Ave, New Haven, CT 06515. Repast will be private. Facial covering are required to enter and social distancing will be greatly appreciated. West Haven Funeral Home at the Green is entrusted with arrangements.
