Carmen Milagros Mojica Rodriguez

Carmen Milagros Mojica Rodriguez, a woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and boundless love, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, surrounded by those who cherished her. Born in Sabana Seca, PR, on June 25, 1945, a daughter of the late Mariano and Josephina Martinez Rodriguez.  

She was a woman of prayer, finding strength and guidance in her faith and lifting others up through her devotion. Her kindness was felt by everyone she met. She treated all people with humility, grace, and respect. To know her was to feel welcomed, loved, and seen. 

A gentle soul with a warrior’s heart, Carmen faced life with determination and resilience. She carried herself with humility, never seeking recognition, yet leaving a lasting impact on everyone around her. Her love was steady and unconditional, expressed through her actions, her words, and especially through her cooking. Her meals brought people together, turning ordinary moments into cherished memories filled with warmth and comfort. 

She was a pillar of her family - a source of guidance, strength, and love. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the faith she modeled, and the love she poured into generations. Carmen is survived by her loving children Carmen Maria, Teresa, Francis, and Jaime Mojica; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Carmen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 20 years, Francis Mojica Morales; and siblings Eva, Francisca, and Felix Rodriguez Martinez. She will be missed and forever remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering faith, and her warrior heart.

Arrangements were entrusted to West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 29, from four to seven o’clock.  On Friday morning, January 30, her memorial service will be held in the funeral parlor at 10 o’clock.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
