Obituary
Carol A. Tufano, age 79, of Cheshire passed away, after a courageous battle, on August 18, 2023. Carol was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Alphonse and Grace Cocilova Antonucci. She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Mouris of Plantsville, Michelle (Robert) Schultz of SC, and Anthony (Debroah) Tufano Jr. of Cheshire, her 5 grandchildren, Rachel (Eric) Bender, Jeffrey (Stephanie Norman) Mouris Jr., Corey (Jordan Wesel) Schultz, Kaitlyn Schultz, and Anthony Tufano III. She is also survived by her siblings Anthony Antonucci of Cheshire & Joyce Spina of WA and her sister-in-law Beverly Antonucci. In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her brother Harry Antonucci and her sister Grace Herschler. Prior to her retirement, she was the owner and operator of Tufano Amusement.
Carol loved her family more than life itself. She was always one to speak her mind, whether good or bad. At lunchtime, she could also be found sharing a meal with her brother Anthony. Carol enjoyed watching her tv in bed, with a few snacks.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9-11am at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green, with a funeral service commencing at the funeral home at 11am. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
