Carole Susan Limosani

Carole S. Civitello Limosani, age 72, of West Haven passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on August 4, 2024.  For 48 years, she was the loving wife of Vincent Limosani.  Carole was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Ralph and Lucy Alicata Civitello.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by her cherished daughters, Alicia and Jenna Limosani and her beagle, her cupcake Olive. 

Carole worked for the West Haven Board of Education, prior to her retirement.  Starting as a lunch aide, cafe worker and then secretary.  She was a beautiful soul who fought hard for almost 9 years with her illness.  Her determination to be strong was unwavering and a testament of how she wanted her girls to be.  Carole loved the NY Yankees, holidays, cooking with her family, going to Vermont, and the colors & smells of flowers.  She loved a good grilled steak, chocolates, pastries and pastina. Carole’s homemade pizzgaina, pumpkin pie and potato salad were legendary.  

All Funeral Services will be private, per Carole’s wishes.
