Carole Murray Obituary

Carole Ann Murray, born in New Haven, Connecticut on February 24, 1960, passed away suddenly but peacefully on April 24, 2026, surrounded by love.  A beloved daughter of the late Robert and Susan (Esposito) Evans, her late stepfather, Sal Esposito, raised her and held a special place in her heart.

Carole was the devoted wife of James Francis Murray III; loving mother to James Francis Murray IV and Michael Murray; and cherished mother-in-law to Valeria, a special thanks to Val for everything she did for our family. Carole’s greatest joy in life was being “Grammy” to her adored grandchildren, Sadie Bella Murray, age 5, and Mack Michael Murray, age 2.  They were truly the light of her life.

Carole is also survived by her sister, Lisa (John) Nosal and their son Matthew; mother-in-law Camille Paglinco, lovingly known as “Gigi”; sisters-in-law Margie (Gaulter) Lima and Ellen; brother-in-law David (Aileen) Murray; beloved nieces and nephews Jenny, Elizabeth, Christopher, Nikki, Kendall, Amanda, David, and Molly; as well as best friend Jeanie - they shared (and will always have) a special, unbreakable bond.  Along with her parents and stepfather, Carole was preceded in death by her niece Kyra.

Carole worked as a dedicated medical assistant at Village Medical/ProHealth for over two decades. She was known for her kindness, warmth, and the care she gave to those around her, both professionally and personally. She also worked at Rip Tide, formerly Oyster River, where she built everlasting friendships and was known for her kindness and reliability.

Outside of work, Carole’s favorite moments were spent with her “grandbabies.” Sadie and Mack were always most excited when they saw their Grammy pull up to the house, knowing the fun was about to begin. Carole and Sadie shared an especially precious bond, spending many weekends together having “girl time.” They lovingly called each other besties, and their relationship was one of pure joy, love, and friendship. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, especially time spent at the beach and enjoying a good Cosmo.

Carole will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the beautiful way she made those around her feel cared for. Her love will live on through her family, especially through the grandchildren who brought her so much happiness. She is now reunited with her beloved dog Ralphie and others who went before her.

Rest in peace, sweet Carole. You were deeply loved and will be forever missed.
