Daniel Robert Ronan

Daniel Robert Ronan, 51, died suddenly and went home to the Lord on December 30, 2025. Danny was the son of Nancy Wheaton-Ronan and the late Edward Ronan. In addition to his mother, Dan is survived by siblings Sean (Debra), Katy (Joseph) Vecellio, and Joseph (Tammy) Ronan. He leaves behind nieces and nephews, Joseph Paul Ronan II, Rue Moore, Irene Ronan, Joseph (Ashton) Vecillio and Matteo (Sarah) Vecellio, Patty Vecellio and her partner Gabe Rojas; as well as Molly (Roger) Clapp, Lexi, Shelby, and Shane Ronan; and a great-nephew Howie Clapp.

 Danny was a proud union Iron Worker, Local 424, for 30 years. He had a talent for stealing brownies before dinner, even when they were hidden away. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will take place on Monday January 12 from 3 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home. On Tuesday morning a prayer service will take place at 10 o'clock at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford.
