David A. Yarmosh

David A. Yarmosh, 70, of West Haven entered into rest on March 20, 2023 at his home.  His devoted wife Debra Flood Yarmosh was by his side.  Dave’s loving family includes his children Paul (Catherine) Yarmosh, Brian (Allison) Yarmosh, Nicole (Dave) Zgradden, Daniel (Stephanie) Doria, Chris (Kelley) Doria; his siblings Thomas Yarmosh and Nancy (Peter) Myer, in- laws Karen Guthrie, Keith (Lisa) Flood, Stephen (Mary) Flood; nine grandchildren; his former wife Nancy Yarmosh and many nieces, nephews and friends.  He was predeceased by his son David Yarmosh II, parents Frank and Catherine Athans Yarmosh, two brothers Frank and Donald Yarmosh and his fur baby Randy.

Dave was a long-time employee of Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Never one to sit still, Dave had endless energy which he channeled through numerous hobbies including baking, cooking, and fixing things around the house, a jack of all trades.  His fondness for the outdoors was reflected in his love of boating, fishing and swimming, second only to his desire to eat any available flavor of ice cream! 

Visitation will take place on Friday March 24 between 2 and 6 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the green.  There are no other services. A special thank you goes to Seasons Hospice staff, Yamaris DePalma and Sharlene Stevenson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
