Dominic “Mickey” Livi, 91, formerly of West Haven, entered into rest on March 21, 2021. He was the husband of the late Anna Dini Livi, who passed away in February. Mickey leaves his only child Annette (Mark) Knobloch and his grandsons Michael and Jonathan (Samantha), of whom he was so proud. He is predeceased by his brothers and their wives Carl and Louise Livi, Gino and Yola Livi and his twin John and Nancy Livi.
Well known around West Haven for his generosity and kindness, Mickey was a founding member of the West Haven Italian American Club. A past president and tireless volunteer for the club, he organized an event almost weekly- Monday night casino bus trips, Tuesday senior group, Thursday bingo. He enjoyed bartending at numerous events at the I.A., where his smiling face and pleasant demeanor greeted everyone. As a town aid inspector for 35 years, he retired from the State of CT. During the Korean conflict, Mickey served for two years in the Army. Regardless of his busy life, Mickey loved every minute spent with his family. A special thank you to Bernie who became like family during the time he cared for Mickey.
