Don Evans

Don Evans, 91, of West Haven passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, July 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Everett, Massachusetts on August 15, 1932. He proudly worked at Mack Trucks for over 40 years and served in the Connecticut National Guard.

Don leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted and loving daughter Donna Evans, granddaughter Brittany (Rachel) Soda, who adored him as her “Poppie”, as well as his son Eugene (Pamela) Evans of Arlington, Texas. He was predeceased by his wife Susie (DePoto) Evans.

Don will always be remembered as a great man whose kindness, one-of-a-kind personality and sense of humor were adored by all who knew him.
