Donald J. Turcotte

Donald Turcotte, age 63, of Branford passed away suddenly on May 12, 2023.  He was the soulmate of Dawn Turcotte.  Donald was born in New Haven, son of Ruth Hatfield Turcotte of West Haven and the late Douglas Turcotte Sr.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, William Turcotte of East Haven, Robert (Jennifer Chompre) Turcotte of Bridgeport, Melissa (Marco Gomez) Castillo of Branford, and Richard (Pamela) Turcotte of Bridgeport, his grandchildren, Ricardo Castillo, Angelina Gomez, Isabella Gomez, Tyler Chompre, and Sophie Turcotte, his brothers Daniel Turcotte and David Turcotte both of West Haven, and his nephews, Douglas III, Daniel, Donald, and David Turcotte.  He is also predeceased by his brother Douglas Turcotte Jr.

For many years Don owned and operated Turcotte Masonry.  He had a passion for fishing & motorcycles and for many years was a Volunteer Firefighter in West Haven.

The hours for visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Interment will be private.
