Elaine (Carrozza) Izzo

Elaine Carrozza Izzo, 88, of New Haven entered into rest on January 9, 2025.  She was the wife of the late Giacomo “Jack” Izzo.  Elaines loving family includes her children Elaine (the late Louis) Culmo, Dominick (Darla Mauro) Izzo and Gary (Kathy) Izzo, four cherished grandchildren James, Salvatore (Taylor Choe), Gary and Dominique (Austin) Fries, two adored great grandchildren Colton and Bella and her sister Theresa (Anthony) Gambardella.  Brothers Salvatore, Charles and Eugene Carrozza are predeceased.

A lifelong New Haven resident, Elaine was one of five children born to the late Eugene and Theresa Pascucelli Carrozza. A tireless worker, Elaine held several jobs throughout her lifetime, including a dedicated CNA at CT. Hospice and as a skilled phlebotomist.  She retired from the New Haven Public School system where she worked in food service.

Elaine will be buried next to her husband in a private service.
