Elaine Ellen (Branch) Raucci

Elaine Ellen Branch Raucci, 87, died on March 19, 2024.  For 59 years, she was the wife of the late Robert Paul Raucci, who died in 2018.  Elaine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Beth and William A. Gambardella and two grandchildren Anthony R. and Alyssa M. Gambardella.

A daughter of the late Alfred and Lois Ammann Branch, Elaine was born in West Haven on September 24, 1936.  Her sister Janet Albinger also predeceases her.

A 1954 graduate of Hillhouse High School, Elaine served as the class secretary.  She attended the School of Fashion and Design.  As a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Elaine received the prestigious DAR award.  Over the years, her work included administrative duties at Bethlehem Steel, CT. Stone and CT. Refining.  She retired from Allergy Associates.

All arrangements are private.  Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
