Obituary
Elwood “Eddie” Edwards, 81, of Florida passed away on November 20, 2022. Eddie was born in New Haven, a son of the late Elwood and Evelyn (Asard) Edwards. Eddie is lovingly remembered by numerous cousins, especially Charlotte Carney and Joann “Chickie” Spillane. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph L. Edwards.
He graduated from Hill House High School, class of 1959. Eddie worked as a customer service agent for Delta Airlines for 30 years. Eddie loved Daytona Beach, convertible cars, and traveling to tropical islands. He was also an enthusiastic follower of women's roller derby.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 6th, from 10-11am, at West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A funeral service will commence at the funeral home at 11am, with entombment to follow in St. Lawrence Garden Mausoleum. Donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org.
