Gary Thomas Arnold

Gary Thomas Arnold, age 70, of Stratford passed away suddenly on March 16, 2024. He was born in New Haven, son of the late Joyce Ann Bruneau Hopkins. Gary is survived by his father Jake Hopkins of West Haven, sisters Lisa Conte (David Cruz) of Branford, Tracy Floberg of West Haven, and Pamela Schwartz (Scott) of California, his nieces Shaina Gonzalez (Jose), Erica Ryder (Jamie), Melissa Sachtler (Randy) and his nephew Michael Floberg.  In addition to his mother, Gary was predeceased by his partner Richard Groller and his nephew Matthew Floberg.

For many years, he enjoyed working for the former A.C. Moore. Gary was a lover of simple things, gardening, good company, good food, a cold beer, and a good laugh.
