Gary A. Gray, Sr.

Gary Gray, Sr., 75, of West Haven died on July 25, 2024 with his family by his side. Born to Robert Gray and Caroline Fisanich on August 19, 1948 in Milford. Gary leaves his adoring wife of 54 years, Jacqueline LaClair Gray; sons Gary, Jr. of Connecticut and Nicholas (Tracy) Gray, Sr. of Florida; grandchildren Nicholas Jr., Tréanna, Mackenzie, and Jeremy Gray, Megan Olson and Cheyenne Gray; sister Denise Camp of Connecticut; and brother Robert Gray of Florida.

Gary proudly served with the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam war. The quintessential "backbone of the family," he was a devoted husband and hero, father and grandfather. Gary was known for his sharp sense of humor and his pride in being a veteran. When he wasn't rooting for the NY Yankees and NY Giants, Gary enjoyed casino trips and spending time with his loved ones. He'll be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Arrangements were entrusted to West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Entombment with military honors will be held Monday, August 5th at 12pm at Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
