Gaylene  Miaski  Mikoliczyk

Gaylene Miaski Mikoliczyk, age 77, of West Haven passed away suddenly at home on December 11, 2023.  For 54 years, she was the loving wife of Edward S. Mikoliczyk.  Gaylene was born in East Hartford, daughter of the late James and Genevieve Bohuski Miaski.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by her cherished children, Lisa Clark and her husband David of VA and Edward Mikoliczyk of Milford, her greatest joys, her granddaughters Jordan Clark and Cara Mikoliczyk.  Gaylene was predeceased by her beloved son Michael Mikoliczyk.  

She was an only child growing up but had so many cousins around her that were like her siblings.  Gaylene graduated from Naugatuck High School, Class of 1964.  To say she loved Bingo would be an understatement!  Gaylene playing bingo whenever and wherever, from the IA Club to all the local church halls. She enjoyed traveling with her family, trips to Hawaii and Lake George just to name a few.     

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Thursday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Vianney Church, St. John XXIII Parish at 10am.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
