Genowefa (Chmura) Szadkowski

Genowefa Szadkowski, 99, of Hamden entered into rest on October 16, 2025.  Wife of the late Marion Szadkowski, Genowefa was born in Poland, daughter of the late Jozef and Salomei Bednarz Chmura. She was predeceased by three sons Andrew, Thaddeus and former West Haven corporation counsel Henry Szadkowski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Genowefa and her son Henry in St. Stanislaus Church on Monday October 27 at 10 o’clock.  Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
