George David Cavalier, 70, of West Haven entered into rest on April 25, 2025 after a lengthy illness. George’s loving family includes his children Lauren (Jason Richardson) Cavalier of Arizona and Craig (Stephanie) Cavalier of South Windsor, siblings Thomas “Corey” Cavalier and Lori (John) Aiello all of West Haven, his grandchildren, Brielle Cavalier, Kade, Landon, Ashlyn, McKenna and Jacob Richardson and many nieces and nephews. His parents Thomas and Marilyn (Umlauf) Cavalier predecease him.
Until retirement George worked as an accountant for Design Resource and Services. A proud UCONN graduate, George enjoyed everything related to the school, especially watching women’s and men’s basketball games.
All are invited to a visitation on Friday May 9, 2025 from 10 am to noon at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A parlor service will take place at noon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org/en/ or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
