Gina Buonocore Maenza

Gina Buonocore Maenza, 60, of Deerfield Beach, FL, formerly of Northford, CT, died unexpectedly with her children by her side on February 12, 2025. She leaves behind four loving children Gabriella, Demi-Rose, Khiana and Santino Maenza, stepchildren, Jaime and James Jr. Maenza, her mother Carole Lawson Buonocore, siblings Vicki Caputo and Michael Buonocore and many extended family members and friends.  She is predeceased by her former husband Jimmy Maenza and her father Frank Buonocore.

Gina was loved by countless customers and friends at Mike’s Apizza, where she worked with her family. She spent the last year and a half of her life in Florida, close to her daughter Gabriella. She loved her plants, cooking, the beach, and taking vacations. Gina loved to have a good time with her friends. Most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her four children and took pride in caring for them.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday February 18th from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  On Wednesday morning, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Ave. North Haven at 10 o’clock.  Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
