Gregoria (Santana) Vega

Gregoria Santana Vega, 78, of Portland, formerly of Milford entered into rest on February 16, 2026.  Wife of the late Jaime Vega, Gregoria leaves her two children Jaime Joseph Vega, with whom she lived and Jennifer V. Madarang (Richard), adored grandsons Zachary Andrew Novak and Jaime Joseph Arthur Vega; siblings Carmen Julia Santana, Beczaida Roman, Jose A. Santana, Jr., and Milagros Torres. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Gloribel Velasquez Rainey.

Trained as a beautician, Gregoria devoted her life to her children once they were born, to her grandsons and to her siblings.  A daughter of the late Jose A. and Celia Ortega Santana, Sr., family was the most important part of her life, and her days were focused on them.  Our lives are forever changed. She will be eternally missed.

Visitation will take place on Sunday February 22, 2026, from one to four pm at the West Haven Funeral Home. A prayer service will begin at three pm.
