Hannah J. Marro, 75, of West Haven, passed away at her residence on September 5, 2023, under hospice care following a prolonged illness. She is survived by her son Erik Londono of Terryville; daughter Marissa (Timothy) O’Brien of East Haddam; grandchildren Logan and Morgan; and oldest daughter, caregiver, best friend, and in her words, her “other half” Christa Marro of West Haven.
Hannah was born June 18, 1948, in New Haven. She graduated from Wilbur Cross High School, class of 1966. She worked as an LPN at Soundview Nursing Home for over 20 years. Her patients and coworkers were lucky to have someone so caring and helpful. Hannah especially loved her collection of dolls, tending to her plants, crafting, and most importantly, spending time with her beloved family. The greatest thing in her life was being referred to as “Hannah Nana” and “Moma” by her loved “beautiful family.”
She was predeceased by her father Carlos Montalvo; mother Sarah Wallace Marro; stepfather John Marro; grandson Trenton O’Brien; and loving dog/companion Peanut. We would like to thank all the wonderful people at CT Hospice for their great care and support.
Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, from 5 – 7 o’clock. Inurnment will remain private.
