Ilona Robertson Obituary

Ilona Silva Robertson, of West Haven, died on November 6, 2020. Born on September 12, 1947 in Norwich, CT to the late Sigrid (Hakkarainen) and Levi Robertson. Ilona was also predeceased by her brother Nils Robertson and her wife Ramona Cortese. She is survived by nieces Amy (Robertson) Philo of Cotuit, MA, Lauren Robertson of Bourne, MA as well as cousins J. Richard Robertson of Old Lyme, CT and Robert Robertson of Moosup, CT. Mrs. Roberston earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and her MA in Education Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University. She dedicated her career as an Education Psychologist within the West Haven, CT school system. In addition to her beloved family, Ilona loved all animals- she held a particular passion for wolves. There will be no services at this time.
