Irene (Ravis) Phillips

Irene Ravis Phillips, 93, of West Haven entered into rest on March 13, 2023.  She was the wife of the late John J. Phillips.  Irene leaves her loving family, including her daughter Diane M. Reynolds; sons Larry J., Paul J. and Christopher (Debbie) Phillips; 3 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and a great granddaughter.  In addition to her husband, Irene was predeceased by 2 sons Dennis and Thomas Phillips and her siblings Fred, Ray and Gloria Ravis, Elvira Chadwick, Yolanda Barber and Viola White.  

Irene worked for many years at Sears where she held the position of assistant manager of the infant and children's department.  She enjoyed trips to Mohegan Sun with her son Paul.  Her home was open to all.  She was the "go to " person in her family, making sure everyone was always welcome and had plenty to eat!

On Friday morning March 24, 2023, visitation will take place between 8:30 and 10 o’clock at the West Haven Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John XXIII Parish at the Church of St. Louis.  Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
