Jacqueline Elenor Moquet

Jacqueline Elenor Moquet, 59, of West Haven died on October 29, 2024.  Born in New Haven on March 20, 1965, she was a daughter of Carolann Kramer Moquet and the late LeRoy Moquet.  In addition to her mother, Jackie is survived by son John Persano; life partner Carl Johnson; sister Loretta (Don) Murray; brother LeRoy (Melissa Wilkins) Moquet; and treasured dog, Bruno.   

The best mother a son could have, Jackie was the center of the best days in her son's life.  She was fiercely loyal to her family and provided the steadfast support everyone depended on.  Jackie lit up every room she entered with her humor, sharp wit, and warm, loving presence.  A devoted caregiver, she worked as a teacher in early childhood development. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1 from four until six o’clock.  No other services will be held.
