Jaime Vega, 74, of Milford died suddenly on May 4, 2024. Jaime leaves a large and loving family, including his mother Maria Berrios, wife Gregoria Santana, two children Jennifer Vega and her husband Richard Madarang and Jaime Joseph Vega; siblings Maria Cruz, Evelyn (William) Albino, Michele Berrios, Hipolito (Cynthia) Vega, two adored grandsons Zachary Andrew Novak and Jaime Joseph Arthur Vega, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Jaime worked for SNET for 35 years and retired at age 50. He loved all kinds of music and enjoyed painting, with many of his works sold by different art galleries. Traveling and learning about new cultures were his passion. Above all, Jaime valued family, which meant everything to him. When he loved, he gave his whole heart. He adored his wife, children, and grandchildren. His smile would light up a room, and even if he didn’t wear a smile on his face, happiness could always be seen in his eyes. Jaime was generous in helping anyone in need, whether he knew them or not. He was taken away much too soon, but Heaven has gained a beautiful angel that will be missed by many.
Services attendance will be by invitation only from the family. A celebration of Jaime’s life will take place at a future date.
