Jason Louis Moore

Jason Louis Moore, born December 11, 1991 in New Haven CT passed away suddenly January 8, 2021. Jason was a Hamden High graduate, with a passion for animals and a desire to attend veterinary school.  For the past 6 years, Jason worked at Stop n Shop in Dedham, MA., enjoying the conversation and company of his coworkers and customers. He created pure joy just by talking to people. He loved Japanese culture and going to Amine conventions. He was a unique soul with a smile that could brighten even your worse day. Everyone who met him knew what a special human he was; funny, kind-hearted, generous and genuinely concerned for you. Those who truly knew him will forever be blessed.

Jason leaves behind his devoted parents Brenda (Roderick) Addison and Dolphuss Addison;  his brother Michael Moore of Hamden, niece Caydence Moore of Meriden, CT. and his uncles Richard (Barb) Roderick of Woodbridge, CT, and Eric Roderick of West Haven, CT. Jason is predeceased by his beloved maternal grandparents Richard (Rosie) Roderick and Lorraine Barbaresi Roderick.

Visitation will take place on FRIDAY January 22 from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home 662 Savin Ave. West Haven.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 10 o’oclock in All Saints Cemetery.  In accordance with Covid protocol, masks must be worn for all services.  Donations may be made in Jason’s name to either Mystic Aquarium, or Vinfen, Vinfen.org/donate.
