Jean F. Guiliano

Jean F. Guiliano, age 79, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2021. Born in New Haven on September 1, 1942, a daughter to the late Anthony & Edith Cocco Guiliano, Jean is survived by her loving family, Natalie (Charles) DeRosa, Judith Guiliano, her twin, Joan Guiliano and her niece Lisa DeRosa, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Jean loved being part of a large, Italian family, and cherished family gatherings. She worked for many years as a dedicated special education teacher. Jean was the devoted caretaker to her twin sister, Joan. She loved sheep dogs, and traveling.  Jean enjoyed attending musicals and plays. She was a lung transplant recipient in 2012, and was an avid member of assorted idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis support groups in CT and the Berkshires. Jean was a loyal friend to many, and a loving and supportive sister and aunt; she will be deeply missed.

Visitation will take place on Friday, September 10, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at West Haven Funeral Home at the green. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory Church, 300 Captain Thomas Blvd., West Haven on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
