John Santos Correia

John Santos Correia, age 54, of West Haven passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on May 15, 2021.  He was the loving husband of Jennifer Guay Correia.  John was born in New Haven, son of the Jose Correia and Matilda Victorino Correia.  He is also survived by his adoring children, Mark (Shirley) Correia, Matthew (Nicole Fawell) Correia, Michael and Melissa Correia, his cherished grandson Ralph Correia, his sisters Maria (Alan Evans) Pinheiro and Dina Deitch, his in-laws Gerald Guay and Wanda (Michael) Folsom, his sister-in-law Michelle (Timothy) Parenteau, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews whom he loved.  John was predeceased by his daughter Stephanie Correia.

John was a fun loving guy who also was willing to help someone in need.  He loved his family unconditionally.  John was formerly employed by SNET and UPS.  John was an avid fisherman, who passed on his love for fishing to his children.   

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.  A funeral service will commence at the funeral home at 7pm.  Interment will be private.
