John William Miller

John William Miller, of West Haven passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024, surrounded by his family.  During his two tours of duty in the Navy, John met his wife Soledad in the Philippines.  They were married there on July 4, 1982.  Together John & Solly have three children, son Danilo Campillo and his wife Raquel, his children Danica, Danico, Dustin and Daniela Campillo, daughter Shannon Miller, her husband Jonathan Amio and their children Tyler Miller, Lauren, Madison, and Josh Amio, daughter Angelica Cammarano, her husband Christopher and their children Raymond, Amelia and Alivia Cammarano; three great grandchildren include Gella, Gellina and Madeleine Campillo.  John also leaves his four siblings Frederick Miller Jr., Barbara Miller, Debra DeMartin, and Michael Miller.

While serving in the Navy, John received several medals including the Humanitarian Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Expeditionary medal and the Sea Service Deployment ribbon.
