John served in the Korean War (1952-1954).  He was a member of Zandre’s, the Jolley Timer Club, as well as the West Haven Italian American Club, where he attended numerous social gatherings with his friends throughout his active and longtime membership. John enjoyed walking on the beach and boardwalk, working in the yard, watching his beloved Yankee’s and UConn Woman’s basketball, and spending time with his family and friends at the various Clubs. He and his wife (Josephine) loved to dance, and go on occasional vacations, including trips to Italy, Spain, Aruba, Bahamas, Canada, Hawaii, and many visits to San Diego over the years.
